Barry's Upcoming Release
A snarky, critical newspaper editor retires with his wife to Donegal, a golf community in Naples, Florida.
For years, Brady Ritz made a hobby of writing satire for Grumble, a little magazine. He wrote under an assumed name, and concealed the monthly column from Natalie, his conventional wife. He made fun of his stepdaughters’ approach to "carpet--bomb" parenting and food, along with the country-club mores and manners at Donegal. But Ritz was careful to change names and mask people’s identities.
All goes well until vanity leads Ritz to publish a collection of his columns under his own name. Since no one at Donegal reads anything but newspapers, bodice-ripper romance novels and Tom Clancy thrillers, who will ever see his book? But once word gets out he wrote one, Donegal residents start reading, and finding themselves.
Natalie leaves and returns to their Michigan house—how can she face anyone at the club? Ritz’s stepdaughters resent him, and now only two people still talk to him: a right-wing exercise fanatic with Alzheimer’s, and a blind retired doctor who still plays golf.
And Sunshine, a young sex worker studying business--and Truman, a depressed dog with one eye.

Reviews
"Loved this mystery suspense novel. I will recommend this book to others and will look forward to more Brenda Contay adventures. I give this book 5 stars."
“Mr. Knister weaves a tight, nail-biting tale. I loved Brenda’s rebellious spirit and willingness to do whatever it takes to expose the truth. Though the beginning is a bit slow, once you settle in to the middle, the book takes off like a bullet and the action is non-stop. A must read for all thriller and suspense lovers.”
“I couldn’t put this book down and I HIGHLY recommend it. Fun, fast read that you won't be able to put down!”
